About City:
High white washed houses, narrow winding alleys, hilltop fortresses, exotic palaces centered on mirror-like lakes, stand as a testimony to legends of medieval Rajput chivalry and heroism all of which constitutes Udaipur, Rajasthan’s most picturesque city. Rudyard Kipling describes it as the birthplace of Bagheera in Jungle Book.
Located at the foothills of the Aravalli Range, Udaipur lies in Southern Rajas
Best time to visit:
Winter is the best season to visit Udaipur. In fact, the period from September to March is when the climate is relatively cooler. December and January though, are the coldest months of the year. The Summers are hot and dry, but the lakes that encircle the city make it somewhat pleasant.
