Saibaba Shirdi Darshan Attractions
Samadhi Mandir It is the temple where an idol of Sai baba sits. It's built with white marble stones and is filled with ornamental decorations. The idol of Sai was built in 1954 by the Late Balaji Vasant. The temple is open from 5am to 10pm.
Gurus than
It is the place where Sai baba first appeared in the form of a Bal Yogi- a child ascetic. It hosts a small shrine that has a big portrait of Baba on it. A temple was built here in honor of Sai.
Dwarkamai
It is located on the right side of the Sai temple. It is where Sai came with a marriage party and spent the rest of his life healing and solving problems. This area was previously an old mosque that Sai transformed into a place of healing.
Lendi Baug
It is a garden said to have been watered by Sai himself daily. The Baug is named after a drain that previously flowed there. It is said to be the place where Sai spent his mornings and afternoons resting under a Neem tree.
Khandoba Mandir
It is a temple where Sai Baba was accommodated by Poojar Mhalsapti when he first came to Shirdi. The temple hosts icons of Mhalsai, Banai and Khandoba.
Baba's Chavadi
It is said to be the place where Baba spent alternate nights. It is divided into areas. One of the areas has a wooden bed and a white chair that is said to have belonged to Baba along with a portrait of him. A visit to Shirdi is bound to give you a truly spiritual journey and insight into Sai Baba's life there.
