My views/experience about the destination
Pristine, beautiful, calm, serene.. these are the words that come to your mind once you reach this place.God's own country is just about the right medicine to refresh oneself from the busy and hectic life in a city.
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
Food is traditionally south Indian but they also offer some Chinese stuff. Lot of non veg option - specially fresh fish & shrimps. Shopping in Kerala is mainly fresh tea, spices, dry fruits and oils (Ayurvedic).
My advice to fellow travellers
Munnar can be considered a monsoon destination. The Fresh smell of cardamom & spices, the tea plantations, the clouds and the mist which almost brush your face and above all the rain and the wet weather just leaves permanent etchings on ones mind.
Yes I would recommend this destination to fellow travellers

My views/experience about the destination
A popular weekend getaway for people from mumabi. Matheran is a very nice & quiet hill station for trekking. It has many point around 30-40. It is very good place for athletes. Very close to Mumbai and ideal stress buster. Matheran is one the best weekend destination in Maharashtra. The weather is pleasantly cold through out the year. Thousands of visitors visit the place every week. No cars!! No traffic, no noise, no pollution, Matheran is what a hill station should be. Board a train from Mumbai CST (Karjat or Khopoli local) to nerel about 2hrs. of journey. From nerel either toy train or shuttle cab.cab will take 20 minutes.
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
You will get mostly all types of Indian Food. Just relax and enjoy the weather. Echo Point, Panorama Point (Sunrise Point), Porcupine Point (Sunset Point), One tree Hill, Garbut Point, Heart Point, Rambag Point, Charlotte Lake are some of the places to visit. Matheran has a very small market place. Matheran is most famous for its 'chikki', a strongly recommended purchase.
My advice to fellow travellers
Get a Karjat of Khopoli bound train from Mumbai CST and get down at Neral. From Neral you can get a joyous ride to hills in the mini train. By road you can reach only upto Dasturi. From there you have to walk on your feet or you can ride on horse back or hand pulled rickshaw. You The best time to go to Matheran is probably from September to June as the monsoons get really heavy during the rest of the year.

My views/experience about the destination
Kenya is a must visit for people who emjoy wildlife amd if not then they will certainly start loving it...it gave us a chance to be in the wilderness and experience nature at its best. The mighty King of the Jungle - The Lion was at its best and surely a must see in its natural habitat...If given a chance visit Kenya during the migration when animals migrate from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. Kenya certainly is a destination for both backpackers for whom various campsites are available and for luxury travellers with best of properties like the Fairmont Mt. Kenya Safari Club being one of the many!!!
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
The food is amazing in Kenya with options of game meat, normal continental and ofcourse for the Indian clientele our very own desi khana...A must visit for amazing food is The Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi. Sightseeing would mainly be the national parks and when in Masai Mara dont miss the Masai Village which gives one the insight into the life of the local Masai Tribe and their daily lifestyle. One must certainly pick the souvernirs there of the BIG FIVE along with some handmade costume Masai Jewellery made in the Masai Village.
My advice to fellow travellers
Kenya is a relatively save place now, but do not try to venture out along after the dark in the national park. Do carry a torch along and keep it handy at all times. Yellow fever vaccination is a must and should be taken minimum 10 days prior to departing to Kenya. Do carry photocopies of your yellow fever vaccination certificate along with the original as the same might be asked at the immigrations once you land in India.

Saguna Baug is a Farm of Shekhr Bhadsavle. The farm offers many activities such as Boating in Pond, Nature Walks, Traditional Walks, Botanical Visits, Bird- Watching, Star Gazing with telescope Campfire, Traditional tribal dance. They provide good accommodation such as Dormitories , Cottages and Pond- House.
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
Food - They provide meals including Maharashtrian food (Salad, Papad, two vegetable preparations, Chapati, Dal, Rice, and Dessert) and even Non Vegetarian food is also served as per requirement. Sightseeing - Boating, Fish Farming, Buffalow ride, Dairy, Gardening and Farming, Swimming. Optional Activities - Mountain Camping , Night camp fire, Treking Waterfall in rainy season and Adiwasi folk dance.
My advice to fellow travellers
We always go to Water Parks and Resorts, but one should atleast try this place for a change because Saguna Baug is a Natural Place and a very good choice for a "Peaceful destination".

My views/experience about the destination
Lonavala is one of the most popular weekend destinations from Mumbai. For me, Lonavala is a one of the most beautiful place in Maharashtra. It is surrounded by green hills of Sahyadris valleys, waterfalls and pleasant cool winds. From Mumbai to Lonavala it will take 3 hrs to reach.
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
The main visited place is Bhushi Dam & tiger point. A couple of waterfall and lakes are there. Half way between lonavala and amby valley is the tiger point. There are lots of small waterfalls between lonavala and amby valley. There are so many big resorts and restaurants. Lanavala chikki is very famous.
My advice to fellow travellers
Rainy season is the right time to trip here. Place to see: Rajmachi point, Tungarli lake, Valavan Dam, Lonavala Lake, Karla Caves, Bhushi Dam, Tiger point?σΤιΌ?ͺ
