Saguna Baug is a Farm of Shekhr Bhadsavle. The farm offers many activities such as Boating in Pond, Nature Walks, Traditional Walks, Botanical Visits, Bird- Watching, Star Gazing with telescope Campfire, Traditional tribal dance. They provide good accommodation such as Dormitories , Cottages and Pond- House.
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
Food - They provide meals including Maharashtrian food (Salad, Papad, two vegetable preparations, Chapati, Dal, Rice, and Dessert) and even Non Vegetarian food is also served as per requirement. Sightseeing - Boating, Fish Farming, Buffalow ride, Dairy, Gardening and Farming, Swimming. Optional Activities - Mountain Camping , Night camp fire, Treking Waterfall in rainy season and Adiwasi folk dance.
My advice to fellow travellers
We always go to Water Parks and Resorts, but one should atleast try this place for a change because Saguna Baug is a Natural Place and a very good choice for a "Peaceful destination".

My views/experience about the destination
'Harishchandra Fort' is hill station like Mahabaleswar of Nagar District! It lies, on the boundary of Thane, Pune and Nagar and on the left hand side of 'Malshej Ghat'. If you want to study of fort, this is one of the best example. Height: 4000 Feet Ghat: Maleshj Ghat District: Ahamed Nagar History:- 'Harishchandra Fort' is more than three and half thousand years old. In 1747-48 this fort was won by 'Maratha' Empire from 'Mughal' and 'Late Krushnagi Shinde' was appointed as care taker. How to reach:- From Pune drive via 'Aalephata' and from Mumbai you can drive via 'Kalyan-Murbad-Malshej Ghat' and reach to 'Khubiphata'. After reached 'Khubiphata' you have to walk on the dam to reach 'Khireshwar Village' (Khubiphata-Khireshwar Village - 5 km/1 hrs). From 'Khireswar Village' one needs to walk for 1 km to reach 'Nageshwar Mandir'. This is the oldest temple since in eleventh sanctuary, and is the starting point of the trek. To reach the top of 'Harishchandra Fort' via 'Tular Khind' takes 4 hrs (If you start from 'Khireshwar Village').
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
Place for visiting:- 'Harischandra Temple'- Via 'Tolar Khind' you will be reach 'Rohidas Fort'. From 'Rohidas' it takes one and half hour to reach at 'Taramati Fort'. At bottom the 'Taramati Fort' there is 'Harishchandra Temple'. Just behind the Temple there is small cave. Once you enter the cave one can see an underground room. This is where 'Chandev Rishi' wrote his 'Tatvasar Grantha'. 'Kedareshwar Cave' ?σΤιΌΤΗ£ On the left side of 'Harishchandra Temple', there is one more cave called the 'Kedareshwar Cave'. In this cave there is an ancient 'Shivlinga' which is 1 meter high and 2 meter wide. If you have to reach to 'Shivilinga' you have to cross water which is 4-5 feet deep in the rainy season. It takes 5 minutes for one round of the 'Shivilinga' and water is very cold (During the Rains). 'Taramati Fort'- 'Taramati Fort' is 4850 feet high. There are 7 caves at the bottom of Taramati Fort. In one of the cave there is a 'Ganesh Idol' which is 8 feet in height and is called the 'Ganesh Cave'. 'Konkan Kada'- 'Konkan Kada' is a main attraction for trekkers. It's 4500 feet from the bottom. This is best sunset point during winter. One younger committed suicide from here - saying that he doesn't want live without this beauty of nature. In his memory his name is written there in marble. Living Arrangement: 7 Caves are there for night camp Foods and Drinking Water: Available at 'Khireshwar Village' and on the top of the Fort Traveling journey time: Takes 4 hrs from 'Khireshwar Village' by coming from Pune and Mumbai
My advice to fellow travellers
Visit this place once in lifetime which is heaven on the earth especially in rainy season

My views/experience about the destination
It was my dream to visit Leh. Ideal place for a trekker. Beautiful place up in the mountain ranges of the Himalayas and lots of activities to do. For a regular traveler it can be a nice place to relax and take in the fresh air (just what we wanted)
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
The local food is yummy..simple and delicious...their famous momos is a must have.. do not miss the German Bakery! One can visit the dilapidated monasteries and the gompas. cute little lamas with red cheeks are the major attractions though! Shopping is good in leh if you prefer silver jewllery and pashminas which comes expensive. one must bargain though. dry fuits though are very cheap!
My advice to fellow travellers
Advisable to rest to start with. The climate gets on you. Drink lots of water even if you are not thirsty. Helps to keep the altitude sickness away. Wear sports shoes. girls, no heels. big big mistake!

My views/experience about the destination
Mahableshwar is a great holiday destination & hill station.
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
The food was very nice in mahabaleshwar because there are so many hotels & restaurants. Mahabaleshwar is famous for strawberries, honey, Jams, crushes and chikki. Mahabaleshwar is known for its numerous sightseeing points. We saw dinosaurs point, mountain range & old mahabaleshwar. We saw mahabaleshwar Mandir & panchganga mandir, which is famous for springs of five rivers.
My advice to fellow travellers
U can visit mahabaleshwar in jan to may because it is hill station & good place for Honeymooners. During the late-June to mid-September period, torrential rains virtually shutdown this hill station.
Yes I would recommend this destination to fellow travellers

My views/experience about the destination
M - Magnificent A - Airy N - Nonchalant A - Arresting L - Lovely I ?σΤιΌΤΗ£ indifferent We reached our hotel - Lords Regency- in the morning. After settling down, we decided to explore the in-&-around the hotel. The hotel is located approximately 0.5 kms from main town on Manali-Rohtang Pass route, with gushing Beas river on one side and calm-&-passive hills rising majestically on the other. Hotel staff was very accommodating & cooperative. And hotel - no words to explain. We had been Hadimba Devi Temple. Surrounding the temple is a forest, where you can take leisurely walk and enjoy its beauty, but of course after paying a minimal entrance fee. You can also have a glance of Angora Rabbits & Yak. The next day we had been to Rohtang pass .It was full day trip. We started early in the morning. Weather was also pleasant. One thing to keep in mind do not forget to carry heavy woolen clothes - jacket, gloves. You can even hire these on the way. But careful about quality since lot many people use them so always take precaution. If possible carry your own stuff. Best time to Visit is between March to June
My experience on food, shoping, sight seeing & things to do
Food at Manali is very good and a bit expensive. This place is dotted with German bakeries that sell delicious goodies- brownies, cheesecakes, mouthwatering, soft , sweet rolls of bread sprinkled with raisins, cinnamon and sugar, these are available in almost all the bakeries.
My advice to fellow travellers
An excellent place & highly recommended
