Budapest Ferihegy airport islocated 16km (10 miles) southeast of Budapest's city centre andconsists of three terminals.
Airport facilities
Budapest Airport facilities include a duty-free shop, newsagent, restaurant, bar, gift shop, post office, bureaux de change, banks and car hire. A business lounge and left-luggage facilities are also available.
Transport to the city
Trains run regularly between the airport and Budapest's western railway station (journeytime -30 minutes). The Budapest Card provides a discount on the airport train. Public buses 200 and 93 travel to Kbnya-Kispest metro station. This is a cheap alternative to and from the airport, but takes longer.
The Airport Minibus Shuttle (tel: (01) 296 8555; www.airportshuttle.hu/en) takes visitors to any address in the city. You can buy tickets from passenger service desks or online. The service also picks up passengers at hotels or private addresses for the return flight. Taxis are available at all times (journey time - 45 minutes).
