Welcome to your 'Experience South India' tour! On arrival at the airport / railway station in Bangalore, you you will be met and transferred to your hotel, en route, visit Sriranga patnam - named after the popular Ranganatha swamy Temple which is an important Vaishnavite pilgrimage Centre of South India.
On arrival, check in to your hotel in Mysore.
In the evening, visit Brindavan Gardens, the most sought after locations for experiencing nature's beauty first hand. These gardens have been featured in numerous Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films. Indigenous and exotic species of plant varieties are found here. It holds a water fountain musical shoe where the fountain waters move along a rhythmic beat of Indian music.

Day 2 - Mysore

This morning, proceed on an excursion to visit one of the best-preserved Hoysala temple at Somnathpur.
The Hoysala temple in Somnathpur in Karnataka is unique in its style and presentation and is devoted to Prasanna Chennakeshava. The temple was constructed in the 12th-13th century by the Hoysala rulers and their officials. It is lavishly adorned with sculpture. The sculptures probably cover each and every inch of the wall space. This particular style of intensely packed sculptural scheme is the characteristic exclusive to the Hoysala art.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Mysore Palace which is a historical monument located in the city of Mysore in Karnataka, facing the Chamundi Hills eastwards. It was the authorized residence and seat of the Maharajas of Mysore who ruled the region between the 14th and the 20th century. Mysore Palace houses a number of hidden tunnels leading from the cellar to other palaces and confidential areas in Srirangapatna. The palace is a three-stone structure with marble domes. Its entrance displays the emblem and coat of arms of the Mysore Kingdom. It is the venue for the famous Mysore Dasara Festival held every year on the day of Vijaya Dashmi, featuring stage performances by leading artists and elephant parades.

Today, proceed on one of the most beautiful drives through the mountains of the Western Ghats, witnessing the evergreen deciduous vegetation of Coorg.
On arrival, check in to your hotel in Coorg.

Day 4 - Coorg

After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Coorg visiting places like the Medikeri Fort ,Omkareshwara Temple and Abbey Falls.
A Shaiva theology inspired temple, the Omkareshwara temple was built in the most unique architectural combinations. The temple has been built in a rare mix of Gothic and Islamic forms of architecture. It has a pond which has been used for centuries for prayer and offerings to God. The temple is symbolic of a repentant king and his true devotion to the Lord. A famous landmark in the city of Coorg, the Madikeri Fort is one of the relics of the glorious past of Karnataka. The fort holds remnants of history. It was built in the late 16th century and was raised and rebuilt in the 17th century. The most salient feature of the fort is that there are two masonry elephants installed outside the front gate of the fort. The fort is a great vantage point to see the entire city of Coorg from atop. Later, visit Abbey Falls - located between coffee plantations that is spread through acres of land. The view of the cascading water from the high mountain cliffs in the Abbey Falls is truly astounding. The water here falls from a great height and the origin of the waterfall seems to be from the Kaveri River. It is a very pleasant location for nature lovers and trekking enthusiasts.

Enjoy a half day city tour of Bangalore during which you will explore the botanical gardens of Lalbagh; get fascinated by the finely embellished pillars and arches of the Tipu Sultan Palace; marvel at the monolithic statue of the Bull Temple. During the tour you will also drive past the Government buildings including the Secretariat and Vidhan Soudha (Legislature building) and Cubbon Park.

Morning at leisure. Afternoon you will drive to Mighty Mysore!

This morning you will drive to Mysore en route visiting the island fortress of Srirangapatnam. Srirangapatnam is the biggest of the three islands in the river Kaveri and derives its name from the deity of the temple located inside the fortress. Drive-past the fort and visit the summer palace of Tipu Sultan - Daria Daulat Bagh and its museum with a wide collection of family memorabilia and paintings. Also visit the mausoleum of Tipu Sultan and Hyder Ali. Continue on drive to Mysore and check into your hotel.

Day 4 - Mysore,Ooty

Morning explore the charms of this erstwhile Kingdom on a city tour of Mysore and later drive to Ooty.

Morning half day city tour of Mysore. Your tour will comprise of a visit to the magnificent Mysore Palace, designed by Henry Irving in 1897; Nanda Bull located at Chamundi Hills; and Rajendra Art Gallery, with its collection of diverse objects ranging from antique furniture to music instruments, ceramics, etc. and of course paintings by renowned artists.

Afternoon you will drive to Ooty. On arrival you will transferred to hotel & proceed for check-in

Enjoy a half day tour visiting the Botanical Gardens which were laid out in 1847. The picturesque gardens that are maintained by the Horticulture department of the state, cover an area of about 22 hectares. The Gardens have well over 650 species of plants and trees, including a fossil of a tree, which is believed to be more than 20 million years old. Continue to Ooty Lake built in 1825 and is about 2.5 km long.

Day 5 - Bangalore

After breakfast, proceed to Bengaluru, en-route visit Lalbagh Botanical Gardens and ISKCON Temple.
Spread over an area of 240 acres of land, Lalbagh is one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the city. The main attraction here is the glass house that maintains striking similarity to its English counterpart, the Crystal Palace. A Lecture Hall, Lalbagh House and a Pigeon House have also been installed here. A statue of Kempegowda Woodeyar and Sri Chamaraja Wodeyar has been placed here too. Sri Radha Krishna Temple (ISKCON temple), is one of the largest ISKCON temples in the world. The construction of the temple took 7 years to be completed. The main shikharas of the temple is at least 50 feet high and is entirely made of white stone. The carvings on the main entrance of the temple and on the conical structures above the main entrance are intricately done. The temple is a vision in white at night.
