On arrival in Frankfurt, walk across to Frankfurt Flughafen station (located adjacent to the airport) for your train to Stuttgart.

Train travel from Frankfurt to Stuttgart.

On arrival in Stuttgart, proceed to your hotel.

This morning, transfer to the train station.

Travel by train to Baden Baden.

Upon arrival, proceed to your hotel in Baden Baden.
A premier spa resort town in the Black Forest, made famous since the 19th Century by swanky clientele like such as Queen Victoria, Kaiser Wilhelm I, Napoleon III, Berlioz, Brahms, and Dostoevsky. We recommend you to take a short train journey to Triberg, a wonderfully quaint and beautiful town in the Black Forest renowned for its Gutach waterfall and cuckoo clocks. The World's Biggest Cuckoo Clock is located in Uhren-Park (Clock Park). You can also visit the Hubert Herr's Cuckoo Clock store located in the heart of Triberg.

 

Day 4 - Freiburg

Today, transfer to the train station for your onward journey to Titisee / Freiburg.

Travel by train from Baden Baden to Titisee.

On arrival in Titisee, transfer to the hotel.
The scenic highlight of Titisee-Neustadt is the Titisee Lake whose crystal-clear water attracts thousands of enthusiasts. Since its conversion to a pedestrian zone and waterfront promenade, Titisee is considered the loveliest street for strolling in the Southern Black Forest.

The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful town (on your own). A visit to Titisee is incomplete without a boat trip surrounded by the forested mountains and a visit to the Drubba cuckoo clock factory.

Day 2 - Frankfurt,Weimar,Berlin

Our first stop today is in Weimar, one-time intellectual heart of Germany and host to such luminaries as Luther, Cranach, Bach, Liszt, Schiller, and, of course, Goethe himself. It was at one time rightly known as the "Athens of Germany" Continue through Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt all the way to Germany's capital city, Berlin. (B)

Day 3 - Berlin

On this morning's included guided tour, learn how the city is no longer divided but every bit as fascinating. Once the city of contrasts with its West and East side separated into two different worlds by a wall, Berlin has developed into a harmonious blend of old and new. It has preserved the old buildings, such as the State Opera House and Brandenburg Gate; its neoclassic-style boulevards, such as the Kurf stendamm and Unter den Linden; and it has created brand new buildings in the most daring, contemporary architectural styles. It is once again Germany's capital and one of Europe's most lively and interesting cities. (B)

Day 4 - Berlin,Poznan,Warsaw

Drive east to Poznan, one of Poland's oldest trading centers and admire its renaissance market square. Continue to Warsaw, capital of Poland. (B,D)

Day 5 - Warsaw

The included sightseeing tour is an excellent introduction to Warsaw, magnificently reconstructed after wartime destruction. Today, its wide avenues contrast strikingly with the narrow lanes of the old section. (B)

Day 6 - Warsaw,Krakow

Two encounters with history on your southbound journey today. First, JASNA G A near Czestochowa, the monastery that withstood the repeated onslaught of overwhelming Swedish forces during the religious wars of the 17th century. Since then, its Black Madonna is venerated as the Queen of Poland and has become the country's national symbol. In the afternoon, visit what is left of the Auschwitz CONCENTRATION CAMP, a chilling reminder of the Holocaust. Evening arrival in Krakow. (B,D)

Day 7 - Krakow

This is, they say, Poland's most beautiful city. For almost 500 years it was the country's capital; today, it is without a doubt its cultural capital. Join the included morning sightseeing in ancient Krakow, for centuries the residence of Polish kings. See the Market Square, the Jewish Quarter, St. Mary's Church, and Wawel Cathedral. Free time later to explore this interesting town at your own pace and mingle with the locals. Tonight's optional folklore dinner might be the way to round off your stay in this city. (B)

Day 8 - Krakow,Budapest

Travel through three countries today. First, south to the Tatra Mountains of Poland, then through scenic Slovakia, and finally into Hungary. Your destination is Budapest, the most lively of Eastern European capitals. (B,D)

Day 9 - Budapest

Included sightseeing features Buda Castle, which dominates the twin cities of Buda and Pest, separated by the broad ribbon of the Danube. Also see Heroes Square, which typifies the modern capital, as well as the old inns along the riverbank, Parliament, Margaret Island, Fishermen's Bastion, and the Buda Castle. (B)

Day 10 - Budapest,Vienna

Head for the Austrian border to Vienna in time to enjoy the afternoon and evening in this lively capital. Enjoy the included sightseeing tour with a Local Guide: the State Opera, Parliament, and the Town Hall. Stop for a stroll in Heroes Square to view the Hofburg.. (B)

Day 11 - Vienna,Prague

Morning at leisure or join an optional excursion to Schnbrunn Palace. This afternoon, cross the Czech border into Moravia, then through the rich farmlands of Bohemia to Prague. (B,D)

Day 12 - Prague

The wealth of gothic and baroque architecture perhaps inspired Dvorak and Smetana, both Prague composers. The included guided sightseeing features landmarks such as the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town Square with the ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK. Your Tour Director may suggest an evening optional excursion with traditional Czech music and spectacular entertainment. (B)

Day 13 - Prague,Munich

Into the landscape of the Bohemian Forest before reaching the Czech-German border. Drive south, enjoying the Bavarian scenery, to Munich, Germany Secret Capital, where you will drive through the city and see the main highlights. (B)

Day 14 - Munich,Nordlingen,Rothenburg,Frankfurt

The highlight today is undoubtedly the Romantic Road, which runs north to south as far as the Alps. First, visit lovely medieval Nordlingen, then Rothenburg with its ramparts and towers, cobblestone streets, and 16th-century houses, before heading towards the Frankfurt area. (B,D)

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer. Evening transfer to Old Town Square.

Welcome to Prague! At your airport of arrival, we shall be waiting with transport to take you to your hotel. Our guide will greet you at the hotel and provide you with all the necessary information.

In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Old Town Sq uare. This central location is full of energy and tourist activities. It's a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.

Day 2 - Prague

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river.

Today we are visiting this capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour along Moldava River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague. In the evening, we will enjoy some time off in the historical city center and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world (including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian). Return to hotel.

Day 3 - Prague,Frankfurt

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Bavarian Germany.

We leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will see LAUF AN DER PEGNITZ, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. After this we will carry on to WURZBURG, with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine, a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city. Our journey continues towards FRANKFURT. Explore the historic centre and choose your favourite restaurant to dine in (from Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and so on).

Day 4 - Frankfurt,Amsterdam

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Rhine cruise included.

Today we include a small CRUISE ON THE RHINE, between the villages of RUDESHEIM and ST. GOAR; undoubtedly the river's most picturesque sector. After this we will travel to COLOGNE, a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then on to Holland. AMSTERDAM - arrival at the end of the afternoon - . At the end of the day, you will be taken to Rembrandtplein, one of the busiest squares in the city with plenty of restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Italian, and so on).

Day 5 - Amsterdam

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Picturesque typical village of Volendam. Cheese and wine tasting in a farm. Tour of Amsterdam.

Today we have a very exciting day, we will visit VOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing village. After this we will go to Zaanse Schans to photograph its mill and its typical houses and will visit the cheese farm with cheese and wine tasting included. In the afternoon we include a panoramic tour of AMSTERDAM to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, its official buildings and parks, and will also see the technique of diamond cutting. Transfer to the red light district, with its liberal values and its many restaurants from all corners of the world. It is very likely that you will have heard about this neighbourhood.

Day 6 - Amsterdam,Paris

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Feeling Belgium.

We will leave for BRUSSELS, and will have time in the Grand Place and take a stop to photograph the Atomium. Later in BRUGES, the marvellous Flemish city known as the "northern little Venice". Time for lunch. Continuation to France. PARIS, arrival at the end of the day.

Day 7 - Paris

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Boat ride along the Seine. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Evening transfer.

A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breath-taking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument. End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. At sunset enjoy dinner in "Quartier Latin", a very picturesque area of the historic centre where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. Return to hotel.

Day 8 - Paris

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Free time in the City of Light.

We go to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Free time. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. Rest of the day free.

Day 9 - Paris,Lyon

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Vineyards in Beaune and Bourgogne region.

We travel to the centre of France to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. A stop in NOYERS, a small mediaeval town classified amongst the prettiest places in France. After this we will visit BEAUNE in the centre of the Bourgogne region where its streets full of flowers, its hospice and its wine museum can be reminders of your trip. Time for lunch. LYON - Arrival mid-afternoon -, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhone, its historic centre has been declared a World Heritage site. Free time.

Day 10 - Lyon,Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Swiss Landscapes. Centre of Geneva

We have a beautiful stage. We travel to Switzerland. GENEVA, arrival. With our guide, go to the Palais des Nations (the United Nations headquarters in Europe) and then to the beautiful "Jardin Anglais" with its flower clock, and admire the "Jet d'Eau", the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, we will continue through Switzerland passing the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel Lakes (note: depending on the number of travellers from Geneva to Zurich, this trip might be done by train).

Day 11 - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat trip across Zurich Lake. Journey by train.

With our guide, we will stroll in the most populated city of Switzerland, the financial and cultural capital of the country. The city of banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this we will board a boat for a trip lasting almost two hours on Zurich Lake. The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train, and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. Enjoy an evening in the historic centre, next to the lake, where you can dine at your favourite restaurant (Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, Swiss, etc.).

Day 12 - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grindelwald first. Lunch included.

Toda'ys stage has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Take a stroll through INTERLAKEN and follow to GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald first. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the "footbridge over the empty¨ among the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that we continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Returning to the heart of Zurich, enjoy an evening at the city's most popular restaurants (Indian, Oriental, Middle Eastern, Swiss, etc.).
