Arrive Helsinki Airport and transfer on your own to hotel.

(Note: We can book transfers at additional cost). In the evening at 6 pm meet your tour escort for briefing who will stay with you for the rest of the tour.

Day 2 - Helsinki,Rovaniemi

Buffet Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning city tour of the Finnish capital with a local guide.

We will see the colourful harbour market, the neo-classical Senate Square, the Cathedral, the Sibelius monument, the Russian orthodox Uspenski Cathedral and the famous Church in the Rock; Temppeliaukio.

Free time in the afternoon and evening to maybe shop for the last Christmas gifts, visit the Christmas market or just enjoy the Christmas spirit and the decorations.

Transfer to the train station, for the overnight train journey to Rovaniemi in cabins with private or shared facilities

Day 3 - Rovaniemi

Box Breakfast on board.

Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, transfer to Scandic Hotel for check in.

You will receive the thermal outfits, which you can keep during all your stay in Rovaniemi to keep you warm and let you enjoy the snowy landscape. Today we will make a visit to Santa Claus Village located on the Arctic Circle, here you have the chance to meet Santa himself and visit his post office, maybe send some post-cards, here they will be stamped by hand with special postmark of the Santa Claus Post Office. In this magic world there will also be possible to find some unique gifts of Finnish handicrafts or top Finnish Design products offered in the many giftware shops.

This evening you will enjoy a traditional Christmas Eve Dinner.

For families with children it is possible to leave the Christmas gifts for the children at the reception so Santa Claus can pick them up and give them to the children when he makes a visit to the hotel this Christmas Eve.

Day 4 - Rovaniemi

Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Our morning adventure is a snowmobile safari with ice fishing.

Our safari guide will give us a briefing and driving instructions. There will be two persons per snowmobile and stops will be made during the tour to switch drivers. We will drive on the frozen river and our guide will choose a nice spot to stop for fishing. After drilling a hole in the ice, we will try the ice fishing! Patience is the key of success. We will get hot drinks and biscuits to keep ourselves warm! Time to enjoy the silence of the nature and breathe the fresh air of Lapland. After this nice experience, we will return to the city by snowmobile! Tonight enjoy a traditional Finnish Christmas dinner./

Day 5 - Rovaniemi

Breakfast buffet at the hotel.

A new adventure awaits you today with huskies and reindeer. We arrive at the husky farm where the breeders will tell us about the life of huskies, the breeding, feeding and training of the dogs while you will enjoy a hot drink. We will also enjoy a sleigh ride pulled by a husky team. Their eagerness to run through the silent forest makes this adventure magic.

We continue to the nearby Reindeer farm to learn more about the life of reindeer and their herders. You will also enjoy a ride in a sleigh pulled by reindeer.

Possibility to join an optional Northern Lights Chase safari this evening

Overnight at SCANDIC ROVANIEMI HOTEL or similar in ROVANIEMI.

Day 6 - Rovaniemi,Helsinki

Breakfast buffet at the hotel.

Todays excursion will take us by coach to Ranua Wildlife Park. Here you will have the possibility to see the Arctic animals in an as authentic environment as possible for the animals. There are around 50 different species represented in the park. During your walk in the park, you might see polar bears, lynxes, moose etc.

Upon return to Rovaniemi, we enjoy a buffet dinner before boarding the overnight train, which will take us back to Helsinki.

Day 7 - Helsinki

Arrival in Helsinki and transfer to your hotel.

Day 9 - Helsinki,Stockholm

Breakfast buffet onboard as you sail through the breath-taking Stockholm archipelago.

Directly from the pier we start the sightseeing tour of Stockholm- the Swedish capital. The viewpoint at Fjallgatan gives you a beautiful panorama of Stockholm, which is spread out on 14 islands. We will visit Gamla Stan, the old city with its narrow cobbled-stoned lanes, charming small squares, medieval buildings in happy colours, the Cathedral and the Royal Palace.

The tour ends at our centrally located hotel. Afternoon free to continue exploring Stockholm.

Day 10 - Stockholm

Time free in Stockholm to enjoy the city and prepare for New Years Eve celebration.

A visit is included to the famous Stockholm Ice Bar, including a drink. This is the planet's first permanent ice bar, made of ice from the Ice hotel in Swedish Lapland. Everything except the liquids in the drinks is made of ice, including the glasses you drink out of.

Welcome to Denmark - The Land of Light!
On arrival in Copenhagen, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, was once a humble fishing village, but today it is the glittering capital of the Danish empire. Copenhagen is considered to be one of the world's premier capitals of design and Scandinavia's pre-eminent city. The city's 1000 year history written by ambitious kings, inspiring artist and designers, are found in the sumptuous palaces, copper roofed town houses and atmospheric cobbled squares.

Day 2 - Copenhagen

Guided city tour of Copenhagen (Seat in Coach).

Pass by 'Tivoli Gardens' and the 'New Carlsberg Glyptotek' (an art museum) and continuing along four artificial lakes to the magnificent 'Gefion Fountain'. Continue to 'Kongens Nytorv', and then on to the old 'Fish Market', passing Christianborgs Palace and the National Museum en route. Here we leave the coach and board our boat. Cruising through the harbour pass many towers and famous palaces in Copenhagen, not forgetting of course the 'Little Mermaid'. Next sail through the canals of 'Christianshavn', where, on either bank, we can enjoy the sight of buildings from days gone by as well as the famous golden spiral tower of 'Our Saviour's Church'. The cruise continues down the canals of 'Frederiksholm' & 'Gammel Strand', where we finally arrive in the very heart of Copenhagen, only two minutes walk from the main shopping street 'Stroget'.

Day 4 - Oslo

This morning, arrive in Oslo and transfer to the hotel. Between the Oslo Fjord and the green hills of Oslomarka lies the capital of the Land of Midnight Sun, Norway ! The combination of city life and easy access to outdoor activities makes Oslo a unique destination.

The rest of the day is at leisure, why not take a walk around Sognsvann Lake or try out cross-country skiing along any one of Oslo's numerous (and well-marked) public skiing trails. The green trails along the river are a great place to escape the city and get a breath of fresh air. You may also indulge in some shopping hand-knit sweaters, woodcarvings or woven goods.

Day 5 - Oslo

Open Bus tour of Oslo (Seat in Coach).

Explore the sunniest capital of Scandinavia on a half day city tour. Highlights include: Viegland Sculpture park and to the Ski Jump at Holmemkollen. Later, see the viking ships at the Viking Ship Museum and the unique Polar ship farm in the Fram museum.

Day 6 - Bergen

This morning, proceed to the train station.

Arrive in Voss, where you will take a train and go all the way to Bergen. Once you reach Bergen, a short walk will take you to your hotel.

Transfer from Oslo to Bergen via Myrdal, en route enjoy 'Norway in a Nutshell' tour and a boat trip (Train / Boat / Bus).

Embark on the famous 'Norway in a Nutshell' tour.The train ride takes you northwest in Norway, through the Halling Valley along sparkling rivers and ancient homesteads and past small villages and cities and ascends the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau after passing Geilo and Ustaoset.
Upon arrival in Myrdal, change trains and continue on the famous Flam Railway. The Flam Railway has a lot to offer: wild and beautiful mountains with snow-clad peaks, fertile pastures and historical traditions reaching back to pre-Christian times. Throughout the 20 kilometre long stretch, you'll get a wonderful view of Western-Norway's most beautiful fjord and mountain scenery. The Flam Railway displays some of the most daring and skilful engineering in Norwegian railway history. Continue with a boat from Flam to Gudvangen. The boat trip along Aurlandsfjorden and Naeroyfjorden is another highlight of the tour, this fjord are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. These are the narrowest, most dramatic, and yet the most beautiful of the secondary fjords to the Sognefjord. Continue through Naeroydalen from Gudvangen to Stalheim with bus.

From the grand Opera house where splendid operas are staged to Skansen, the open-air museum and Zoo, where you can visit moose, dolphins, bears and much more, there's never a reason to be bored.

Day 9 - Stockholm

Enjoy Open Bus tour of Stockholm (Seat in Coach).

This morning, after breakfast, proceed for the Stockholm Open bus tour and explore the city at your leisure, with the opportunity to hop on and off at conveniently located bus stops. The city is home to grand public buildings, palaces and has a rich cultural history. Our buses stop at carefully chosen spots including the City Hall, the Wasa museum and Skansen.

Audio city tour of Helsinki (Seat in Coach).

This morning, enjoy a self-guided audio city tour of Helsinki. The many sights include Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament Building, Olympic Stadium, Presidential Palace, Opera House, Finlandia House are amongst the highlights of this special tour. Stops will also be made at the Sibelius Monument and if possible, at the Temppeliaukio Church. A visit to the Seurasaari Open Air Museum is recommended. It is located on a beautiful green island and represents all the different provinces of Finland giving an overall view of Finnish countryside life from the 18th to the 20th century. At present, there are 87 separate buildings at Seurasaari Museum.

This morning, enjoy a self-guided audio city tour of Helsinki. The many sights include Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament Building, Olympic Stadium, Presidential Palace, Opera House, Finlandia House are amongst the highlights of this special tour. Stops will also be made at the Sibelius Monument and if possible, at the Temppeliaukio Church. A visit to the Seurasaari Open Air Museum is recommended. It is located on a beautiful green island and represents all the different provinces of Finland giving an overall view of Finnish countryside life from the 18th to the 20th century. At present, there are 87 separate buildings at Seurasaari Museum.

Day 1 - Copenhagen

Welcome to Denmark - The Land of Light!
On arrival in Copenhagen, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, was once a humble fishing village, but today it is the glittering capital of the Danish empire. Copenhagen is considered to be one of the world's premier capitals of design and Scandinavia's pre-eminent city. The city's 1000 year history written by ambitious kings, inspiring artist and designers, are found in the sumptuous palaces, copper roofed town houses and atmospheric cobbled squares.

Day 2 - Copenhagen

Guided city tour of Copenhagen (Seat in Coach).

Pass by 'Tivoli Gardens' and the 'New Carlsberg Glyptotek' (an art museum) and continuing along four artificial lakes to the magnificent 'Gefion Fountain'. Continue to 'Kongens Nytorv', and then on to the old 'Fish Market', passing Christianborgs Palace and the National Museum en route. Here we leave the coach and board our boat. Cruising through the harbour pass many towers and famous palaces in Copenhagen, not forgetting of course the 'Little Mermaid'. Next sail through the canals of 'Christianshavn', where, on either bank, we can enjoy the sight of buildings from days gone by as well as the famous golden spiral tower of 'Our Saviour's Church'. The cruise continues down the canals of 'Frederiksholm' & 'Gammel Strand', where we finally arrive in the very heart of Copenhagen, only two minutes walk from the main shopping street 'Stroget'.

Day 4 - Oslo

This morning, arrive in Oslo and transfer to the hotel. Between the Oslo Fjord and the green hills of Oslomarka lies the capital of the Land of Midnight Sun, Norway ! The combination of city life and easy access to outdoor activities makes Oslo a unique destination.

The rest of the day is at leisure, why not take a walk around Sognsvann Lake or try out cross-country skiing along any one of Oslo's numerous (and well-marked) public skiing trails. The green trails along the river are a great place to escape the city and get a breath of fresh air. You may also indulge in some shopping hand-knit sweaters, woodcarvings or woven goods.

Day 5 - Oslo

Explore the sunniest capital of Scandinavia on a half day city tour. Highlights include: Viegland Sculpture park and to the Ski Jump at Holmemkollen. Later, see the viking ships at the Viking Ship Museum and the unique Polar ship farm in the Fram museum.

Day 6 - Bergen

This morning, proceed to the train station.

Arrive in Voss, where you will take a train and go all the way to Bergen. Once you reach Bergen, a short walk will take you to your hotel.

Transfer from Oslo to Bergen via Myrdal, en route enjoy 'Norway in a Nutshell' tour and a boat trip (Train / Boat / Bus).

Embark on the famous 'Norway in a Nutshell' tour.The train ride takes you northwest in Norway, through the Halling Valley along sparkling rivers and ancient homesteads and past small villages and cities and ascends the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau after passing Geilo and Ustaoset.
Upon arrival in Myrdal, change trains and continue on the famous Flam Railway. The Flam Railway has a lot to offer: wild and beautiful mountains with snow-clad peaks, fertile pastures and historical traditions reaching back to pre-Christian times. Throughout the 20 kilometre long stretch, you'll get a wonderful view of Western-Norway's most beautiful fjord and mountain scenery. The Flam Railway displays some of the most daring and skilful engineering in Norwegian railway history. Continue with a boat from Flam to Gudvangen. The boat trip along Aurlandsfjorden and Naeroyfjorden is another highlight of the tour, this fjord are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. These are the narrowest, most dramatic, and yet the most beautiful of the secondary fjords to the Sognefjord. Continue through Naeroydalen from Gudvangen to Stalheim with bus.

Free time in the afternoon and evening to maybe shop for the last Christmas gifts, visit the Christmas market or just enjoy the Christmas spirit and the decorations.

Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, transfer to Scandic Hotel for check in.

You will receive the thermal outfits, which you can keep during all your stay in Rovaniemi to keep you warm and let you enjoy the snowy landscape. Today we will make a visit to Santa Claus Village located on the Arctic Circle, here you have the chance to meet Santa himself and visit his post office, maybe send some post-cards, here they will be stamped by hand with special postmark of the Santa Claus Post Office.
In this magic world there will also be possible to find some unique gifts of Finnish handicrafts or top Finnish Design products offered in the many giftware shops.

This evening you will enjoy a traditional Christmas Eve Dinner.

For families with children it is possible to leave the Christmas gifts for the children at the reception so Santa Claus can pick them up and give them to the children when he makes a visit to the hotel this Christmas Eve.

Day 4 - Rovaniemi

Our morning adventure is a snowmobile safari with ice fishing.

Our safari guide will give us a briefing and driving instructions. There will be two persons per snowmobile and stops will be made during the tour to switch drivers. We will drive on the frozen river and our guide will choose a nice spot to stop for fishing. After drilling a hole in the ice, we will try the ice fishing! Patience is the key of success. We will get hot drinks and biscuits to keep ourselves warm! Time to enjoy the silence of the nature and breathe the fresh air of Lapland. After this nice experience, we will return to the city by snowmobile!

Tonight enjoy a traditional Finnish Christmas dinner.

Day 5 - Rovaniemi

A new adventure awaits you today with huskies and reindeer. We arrive at the husky farm where the breeders will tell us about the life of huskies, the breeding, feeding and training of the dogs while you will enjoy a hot drink. We will also enjoy a sleigh ride pulled by a husky team. Their eagerness to run through the silent forest makes this adventure magic. We continue to the nearby Reindeer farm to learn more about the life of reindeer and their herders. You will also enjoy a ride in a sleigh pulled by reindeer.

Possibility to join an optional Northern Lights Chase safari this evening

Day 6 - Rovaniemi,Helsinki

Buffet Breakfast at the hotel.

Todays excursion will take us by coach to Ranua Wildlife Park. Here you will have the possibility to see the Arctic animals in an as authentic environment as possible for the animals. There are around 50 different species represented in the park. During your walk in the park, you might see polar bears, lynxes, moose etc.

Upon return to Rovaniemi, we enjoy a buffet dinner before boarding the overnight train, which will take us back to Helsinki.
