Day 2 - Shimla

This morning, proceed on a wonderful excursion to Kufri. Located at distance of 15 km from Shimla, Kufri is well known for its ski slopes and stunning views. Later in the evening, visit the Mall Road - which is considered as the main street in Shimla, Scandal Point - considered to be a popular tourist spot, Christ Church - one of the first churches built in North India and Lakkad Bazaar - known for wooden toys and articles.
Note: The vehicle will drop you till the Mall road as per the Himachal Tourism policy.

Day 3 - Manali

This morning, proceed on a breathtaking drive to Manali, nestled on the banks of the River Beas amidst Kullu Valley. En route drive past through ACC cement factory, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Mata Temple, Sutlaj River, Beas River, Kullu Shawl Factory, where Kullu shawls and Kashimiri salwar - kameez materials are sold and Mata Vaishno Maha Devi Tirth.
On arrival, check in to the hotel in Manali.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful town.

Day 4 - Manali

Today, after breakfast, visit the four and a half century old Hadimba Devi Temple dedicated to the demon goddess Hadimba (an incarnation of Kali) and the Tibetan Monastery, which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings.
Later proceed to Mall road.
The rest of the day is at leisure to simply relax or explore the city of Manali.

Day 5 - Manali

Today morning proceed to visit the Solang Valley, a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. This valley offers breathtaking views of glaciers, snow-capped mountains, peaks and lush greenery of the dense forest.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this picturesque town or you can opt for Rohtang Pass (closed on Tuesdays). Rohtang Pass offers magnificent views of the himalayan mountain ranges. It was the medieval trading route to Lahaul and Spiti. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired (On direct payment).
If Rohtang Pass / Snow point is not covered due to unavoidable Circumstances one can visit Naggar Castle.
Naggar Castle - the charming 15th century stone and wood Naggar Castle built in the traditional Himachali style with alternating stone and timber, is now a heritage hotel run by Himachal Tourism.
Note: Only local vehicles are allowed for Rohtang Pass / Snow point visit which needs to be booked on direct payment basis.

Today morning, proceed on an excursion to Manikaran, famous for its sulphur springs. The water in the springs is radioactive and also it has got some medicinal value. It is believed that goddess Parvathi had dropped her earrings at Manikaran and that gave birth to the hot springs.

Today, your picturesque journey continues to Dharamshala, the principal township of Kangra district which overlooks the wide spread plains with pine and deodar forests. On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Later, in the afternoon visit St. John's Church and Tibetan Market.
Located 8 km from Dharamshala, surrounded by deodar cedars is the charming St. Johns Church, a neo-Gothic stone structure built in 1852. Brass plaques and superb Belgian stained-glass windows can be seen inside the church.
Tibetan Market is a street full off souvenirs stalls, Tibetan handicrafts, Thangkas, Tibetan carpets, garments, etc.

Day 7 - Dharamshala,Dalhousie

This morning, after breakfast proceed to Dalhousie, en route visit McLeod Ganj - the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama.
Mcleodganj is the headquarters of the Tibetan Government in exile and abode of His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama. Perched almost 1,500 metres above sea level, this hilltop retreat is named after David Mcleod, the lieutenant governor of Punjab in 1848. It is a very popular learning center of Tibetan culture and the teachings of Buddhism. It is home to several monasteries, including the Namgyal monastery.
Later, continue your drive to Dalhousie. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

In the morning, visit the Martyr's memorial at Panchpulla which commemorates Ajit Singh, a supporter of Subhash Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army during World War II.
Later proceed for an excursion to Khajjar Lake. The picturesque Khajjiar Lake is located 23 km from Dalhousie in Khajjiar, which is often labelled as the mini Switzerland of India. Fed by small streams, this lake rests in the centre of the large glade of Khajjiar, surrounded by evergreen cedars. It takes its name from Khajjinag, the deity in the temple nearby.
En route visit Satdhara, acquiring its name from the seven gorgeous springs and said to contain mica and medicinal properties which are able to alleviate several ailments. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Rohtang Pass offers magnificent views of the himalayan mountain ranges. It was the medieval trading route to Lahaul and Spiti. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired (On direct payment).
If Rohtang Pass / Snow point is not covered due to unavoidable circumstances one can visit Naggar Castle. Naggar Castle - the charming 15th century stone and wood Naggar Castle built in the traditional Himachali style with alternating stone and timber, is now a heritage hotel run by Himachal Tourism.

Day 6 - Manali,Dharamshala

Today, your picturesque journey continues to Dharamshala, the principal township of Kangra district which overlooks the wide spread plains with pine and deodar forests. On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Later, in the afternoon visit St. John's Church and Tibetan Market.
Located 8 km from Dharamshala, surrounded by deodar cedars is the charming St. Johns Church, a neo-Gothic stone structure built in 1852. Brass plaques and superb Belgian stained-glass windows can be seen inside the church.
Tibetan Market is a street full off souvenirs stalls, Tibetan handicrafts, Thangkas, Tibetan carpets, garments, etc.

Day 7 - Dharamshala,Dalhousie

This morning, after breakfast proceed to Dalhousie, en route visit McLeod Ganj - the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama.
Mcleodganj is the headquarters of the Tibetan Government in exile and abode of His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama. Perched almost 1,500 metres above sea level, this hilltop retreat is named after David Mcleod, the lieutenant governor of Punjab in 1848. It is a very popular learning center of Tibetan culture and the teachings of Buddhism. It is home to several monasteries, including the Namgyal monastery.
Later, continue your drive to Dalhousie. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 8 - Dalhousie

In the morning, visit the Martyr's memorial at Panchpulla which commemorates Ajit Singh, a supporter of Subhash Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army during World War II.
Later proceed for an excursion to Khajjar Lake. The picturesque Khajjiar Lake is located 23 km from Dalhousie in Khajjiar, which is often labelled as the mini Switzerland of India. Fed by small streams, this lake rests in the centre of the large glade of Khajjiar, surrounded by evergreen cedars. It takes its name from Khajjinag, the deity in the temple nearby.
En route visit Satdhara, acquiring its name from the seven gorgeous springs and said to contain mica and medicinal properties which are able to alleviate several ailments. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

The day is at leisure to explore this picturesque town. Or you can opt for Rohtang Pass (closed on Tuesday's). Rohtang Pass offers magnificent views of the himalayan mountain ranges. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired (on direct payment) or one can opt to visit Solang Valley, located 14 kms from downtown Manali and at an altitude of about 8500 feet above the sea level.

Solang Valley is renowned for its ski slopes and state-of-the-art ropeway. In a picturesque setting of snow-capped mountains, thick conifer forest, lush green meadows and a meandering river, it is the ideal location for a host of outdoor and adventure activities (On direct payment).

Naggar which is located 23 kms north of Kullu on the left bank of river Beas. Here, we will be visiting the Naggar Castle. The charming 15th century stone and wood Naggar Castle built in the traditional Himachali style with alternating stone and timber, is now a heritage hotel run by Himachal Tourism.

Mata Vaishno Maha Devi Tirth is located in the beautiful Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh. Maha Devi Tirth named after Goddess Parvati, also called the Vaishno Devi temple was built in 1966.

Today after breakfast, enjoy city tour of Manali visiting places like Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Hot Water Spring, Ram Temple and Tibetan Monastery.

Hadimba Devi Temple is dedicated to the demon goddess Hadimba (an incarnation of Kali). Constructed in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh, this multi-tiered wooden pagoda-style temple is Manali's oldest and one of the most frequented pilgrim spots. Vashisht Hot Water Spring - On the left bank of river Beas, about 3 km from downtown Manali, the hot sulphur springs in the village of Vashist are significant for their medicinal value. Piped into Turkish-style baths, there are separate bathing areas for men and women, each with pools of varying heat.
