Discover Banff for yourself

Enjoy the day discovering Banff for yourself.  Enjoy a ride on the Banff Gondola (included) where you can take in a panoramic view of the Bow Valley, and then take a dip in the hot mineral pools at the Upper Hot Springs. Drive around the town site, stopping at Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, the Hoodoos and Lake Minnewanka. If time allows, stop by the Vermillion Lakes. Don’t forget to take your camera – the changing colours on Mt Rundle make for a great sunset photo.

Your package includes the popular “Three Sister’s Helicopter Tour. action packed 12 minutes of your life.  Your adventure will take you past the Three Sisters Peaks as you spectacularly escape to the Spray Valley.  You will see the magnificent Goat Range where you will observe the radiant aqua blue & green colours of the Spray Lakes.  Your return flight will provide views of the Bow River as it meanders back towards the Town of Canmore.

Day 4 - Lake Louise

Banff to Lake Louise

This morning drive along the Bow Valley Parkway, and enjoy a short nature walk at Johnston Canyon. Continue to the “Jewel of the Rockies,” Lake Louise.

The Bow Valley Parkway is a 51 km alternate route between Banff and Lake Louise. It’s a narrow two lane road with a much slower speed limit of 60km/hr.

This route is more interesting offering numerous scenic pull-outs and viewpoints with interpretative displays. Several picnic areas offer a place to relax and enjoy a meal in the surrounds of nature and beautiful scenery. Trails offer access to popular hiking areas such as Johnston Canyon. The parkway also offers some of the best opportunities to see wildlife in Banff. It’s possible to see animals right along the roadside because it’s not fenced like the main highway.Keep an eye out for deer, elk, wolves, coyotes and grizzly bear. Early morning and just before dusk offer the best chances to see wildlife.

Between Banff and Lake Louise, you will have plenty to see including Moraine Lake, Peyto Lake, Crawfoot Glacier, and much more.

Day 5 - Jasper

Lake Louise to Jasper – Icefield Parkway Tour

Today, travel along the beautiful and scenic Icefields Parkway. You’re sure to be enthralled by the scenery, wildlife, incredible blue lakes, and sparkling waterfalls enroute.  A stop at Peyto Lake along the way is a must. Next you will visit the Columbia Icefield.  Your package includes a ride onto the Athabasca Glacier on board an Ice Explorer and the Glacier Skywalk.

Later in the afternoon drive on to Jasper.  Enroute stop by at the Athabasca Falls and feel the spray of the Athabasca River as it thunders into the canyon below.Athabasca Falls is a waterfall in Jasper National Park on the upper Athabasca River, approximately 30 kilometres south of the town site of Jasper, Alberta, Canada, and just west of the Icefields Parkway.

Explore this charming mountain village which is close to many terrific scenic highlights. Take a tram ride up Whistlers Mountain(included).  Visit the placid Patricia and Pyramid Lakes before heading to the famous Malign Canyon.  Later drive to Maligne Lake, one of the most photographed lakes in the world.  Your package includes a 90-minute cruise heading toward the south end of this postcard. You will marvel at the magnificent shoreline with dense forest and glacial peaks rising abruptly from the water’s edge. Stopping at Spirit Island, you will have the opportunity to take your own version of the world-famous photograph of the lake.

Drive from Jasper to Edmonton

Immerse yourself in the stunning landscape of the Canadian Rockies during this 4-hour excursion near Jasper. Start your outdoor exploration with pickup from select Jasper hotels at 8:30am, continuing by coach for your sightseeing journey.
