Welcome to your 'Explore Ladakh' tour! On arrival in Leh, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 - Leh & Ladakh

This morning, after breakfast, proceed to visit Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace. This large hilltop stupa has brightly colored reliefs on its mid-levels and is topped by a spired white hemisphere (smoking is prohibited here). Visit the eye-catching Sankar Gompa monastery. Lastly, visit Leh Palace, dilapidated yet interesting, which was built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture.
The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Nubra Valley

This morning, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Dorma or "the valley of flowers" via Khardungla Pass - the world's one of the highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check-in to your camp. Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Later, visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride (ride on direct payment basis).

Day 4 - Leh & Ladakh

After breakfast, drive back to Leh. En route visit Khardungla Pass which is 39 kms away from Leh (Mountain Pass at 5578 m / 18300 ft.). Khardung-La which means 'Pass of Lower Castle,' is major caravan route from Leh to Kashgar in Central Asia. The rest of the day is at leisure for various activities.

Day 5 - Leh & Ladakh

This morning, after breakfast, visit Alchi, (3500 m / 11500 feet) a small village in the Indus Valley, 67 kms west of Leh. Abandoned centuries ago the gompa or monastery known as Chos-kor or religious enclave comprises the five temples. En route see the majestic Sangam - Confluence (where two rivers meet each other). Zanskar is the river formed from the junction of two streams, Lungnak means "dark gorge" and Stod, which carries the melt water of the great Drang-drung glacier. See the marvelous Magnetic Hill, a gravity hill located near Leh. This hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. Visit Military Hall of Fame, a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see biographies of eminent defense personalities, images and weapons used during Kargil war, Siachen and its heroes and their daily instruments and lifestyle of Ladakhi people. You will also visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh and Spituk Monastery famous for its wide and varied collections of ancient masks, icons, antique arms and numerous Thangkas.

Day 6 - Pangong

This morning, after breakfast, proceed to Pangong Tso, a lake which is 134 km long and extends from India to Tibet. 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. During winter, the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. Enroute visit Shey Palace, the 15th century summer palace and monastery of Leh's Royal family; the 800 year old gompa at Thiksey built on a hilltop and modeled on the famous Potala Palace in Lhasa. Before reaching Pangong Lake, you will pass through the Changla, a high mountain pass and the world's 3rd highest motorable road. It is on the route to Pangong Lake from Leh. The name literally means "Pass towards the South" or "Pass in the South" (Chang = south, La = Pass). The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7 - Leh & Ladakh

This morning, after breakfast, drive around the Pangong Lake and don't forget to click photos!! Continue to Leh. En route visit Hemis Monastery hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest gompa in Ladakh. Visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise as well as sunset is amazing from the palace. At present, the palace is open to visit and present a collection of royal attires, crown and other royal materials. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city.

Later, visit Hemis Monastery hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest gompa in Ladakh. Finally, visit Stok Palace Museum, is also the official residence of the Royal Family of Ladakh. The evening is at leisure. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of Leh town from Shanti Stupa, built by the Japanese on your own.

Today, proceed on a full day excursion to Alchi, situated on the banks of Indus River. The monastery of Alchi is famous for its 1000 year old wall paintings which exist in a dark room and can be seen under torch light. En route, visit the Likir Monastery, famous for its giant statue of Maitreya Buddha and its numerous old Tankhas. Enjoy a photo stop at the Sangam of Indus and Zanskar rivers. Post sightseeing, transfer back to the hotel. The evening is at leisure.

Day 1 - Leh & Ladakh

Welcome to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, experience the stunning views as you fly over the dramatic regions of the Himalayas, Zanskar and the Karakoram Ranges, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

On arrival, check into at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the climate of Ladakh. Dinner and Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 2 - Leh & Ladakh

After breakfast relax at the hotel and post lunch proceed to visit the Monastery tour including Thiksey Monastery - A gompa affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey village, approximately 19 kilometres east of Leh and the Hemis Monastery - believed to be the wealthiest and biggest monastery in Leh, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Drukpa Lineage, located in Hemis situated 45 km from Leh.

Evening back to hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 3 - Nubra Valley

After an early breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley crossing Khardung La pass - the highest motorable road in the world at (18,380 ft.) Nubra Valley is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram range and Ladakh range of the Himalayas. Carry packed lunch from the hotel. Arrive at Nubra and visit the Sand dunes at Hunder where one can enjoy a camel safari on a double humped bactarian camel (at your own cost). Also visit the Diskit monastery which has the highest open air Buddha statue.

Continue your drive and check in at your resort/camp at Sumoor. Hot Lunch will be served at the resort/camp. Dinner and Overnight stay at Nubra Valley

Day 4 - Leh & Ladakh

Enjoy breakfast at the camp, proceed to visit the Samstanling Monastery and the Sand Dunes at Sumoor where one can enjoy a camel safari on a double humped bactarian camel (at your own cost). Drive back to Leh over Khardung-la-pass.

Arrive Leh and post lunch visit the Shanti stupa a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa and the Leh Palace - a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 5 - Leh & Ladakh

After early breakfast you visit the Hall of Fame - museum constructed by the Indian Army, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. Further we experience the Magnetic Hill which define the Law of Gravity. Witness the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers from Nimoo. One can enjoy river rafting (at your own cost). Lunch will be served enroute. Drive further to Alchi, nestled in the barren mountain valley of river Indus. Here you will see the Monastic complex of Alchi comprising of many shrines namely Lha-Khang Soma (New Temple), Sumstek (Triple storied shrine), Dukhang (Assembly Hall), Lotsava Lhakhang, Manjushri Lhakhang (Temple of Manjushri), Three Chhortens (stupas).

Return back to Leh for dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 6 - Pangong

After an early breakfast we proceed to the Sindhu Ghat - an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and the Druk Padma Karpo OR popularly known as Ranchos School. Continue your drive to Pangong Lake through the Changla pass at (5486 mtrs.) Pangong Lake, situated at (14,000 feet - 4,267 mtrs) is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km in length. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the lake, one rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening is at leisure.

Enjoy a local dinner at your camp. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

Day 7 - Leh & Ladakh

Enjoy breakfast at the camp, later you drive back to Leh. Post lunch the car will drop you at Leh Market where you can shop for your loved ones.

Day 2 - Leh & Ladakh

After breakfast relax at the hotel and post lunch proceed to visit the Monastery tour including Thiksey Monastery - A gompa affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey village, approximately 19 kilometres east of Leh and the Hemis Monastery - believed to be the wealthiest and biggest monastery in Leh, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Drukpa Lineage, located in Hemis situated 45 km from Leh.

Evening back to hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 3 - Nubra Valley

After an early breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley crossing Khardung La pass - the highest motorable road in the world at (18,380 ft.) Nubra Valley is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram range and Ladakh range of the Himalayas. Carry packed lunch from the hotel. Arrive at Nubra and visit the Sand dunes at Hunder where one can enjoy a camel safari on a double humped bactarian camel (at your own cost). Also visit the Diskit monastery which has the highest open air Buddha statue.

Continue your drive and check in at your resort/camp at Sumoor. Hot Lunch will be served at the resort/camp. Dinner and Overnight stay at Nubra Valley

Day 4 - Leh & Ladakh

Enjoy breakfast at the camp, proceed to visit the Samstanling Monastery and the Sand Dunes at Sumoor where one can enjoy a camel safari on a double humped bactarian camel (at your own cost). Drive back to Leh over Khardung-la-pass.

Arrive Leh and post lunch visit the Shanti stupa a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa and the Leh Palace - a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 5 - Leh & Ladakh

After early breakfast you visit the Hall of Fame - museum constructed by the Indian Army, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. Further we experience the Magnetic Hill which define the Law of Gravity. Witness the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers from Nimoo. One can enjoy river rafting (at your own cost). Lunch will be served enroute. Drive further to Alchi, nestled in the barren mountain valley of river Indus. Here you will see the Monastic complex of Alchi comprising of many shrines namely Lha-Khang Soma (New Temple), Sumstek (Triple storied shrine), Dukhang (Assembly Hall), Lotsava Lhakhang, Manjushri Lhakhang (Temple of Manjushri), Three Chhortens (stupas).

Return back to Leh for dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 6 - Pangong

After an early breakfast we proceed to the Sindhu Ghat - an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and the Druk Padma Karpo OR popularly known as Ranchos School. Continue your drive to Pangong Lake through the Changla pass at (5486 mtrs.) Pangong Lake, situated at (14,000 feet - 4,267 mtrs) is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km in length. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the lake, one rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening is at leisure.

Enjoy a local dinner at your camp. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

Day 7 - Leh & Ladakh

Enjoy breakfast at the camp, later you drive back to Leh. Post lunch the car will drop you at Leh Market where you can shop for your loved ones.

Day 8 - Leh & Ladakh

Today you bid farewell to your Fascinating Ladakh tour. After breakfast you will check out and proceed to the airport for your home bound journey. Return home with wonderful memories.

Day 2

This morning, after breakfast, proceed to visit Shanti Stupa built by Japanese monks to promote world peace. This large hilltop stupa has brightly colored reliefs on its mid-levels and is topped by a spired white hemisphere (smoking is prohibited here). Visit the eye-catching Sankar Gompa monastery. Lastly, visit Leh Palace, dilapidated yet interesting, which was built in the 17th century in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture.
The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3

This morning, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Dorma or 'the valley of flowers' via Khardungla Pass - the world's one of the highest motorable road (5602 mts). On arrival, check-in to your camp. Later in the afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha which is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Later, visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride (ride on direct payment basis).

Day 4

After breakfast, drive back to Leh. En route visit Khardungla Pass which is 39 kms away from Leh (Mountain Pass at 5578 m / 18300 ft.). Khardung-La which means 'Pass of Lower Castle', is major caravan route from Leh to Kashgar in Central Asia. The rest of the day is at leisure for various activities.

Day 5

This morning, after breakfast, visit Alchi, (3500 m / 11500 feet) a small village in the Indus Valley, 67 kms west of Leh. Abandoned centuries ago the gompa or monastery known as Chos-kor or religious enclave comprises the five temples. En route see the majestic Sangam - Confluence (where two rivers meet each other). Zanskar is the river formed from the junction of two streams, Lungnak means "dark gorge" and Stod, which carries the melt water of the great Drang-drung glacier. See the marvelous Magnetic Hill, a gravity hill located near Leh. This hill is alleged to have magnetic properties strong enough to pull cars uphill and force passing aircraft to increase their altitude in order to escape magnetic interference. Visit Military Hall of Fame, a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see biographies of eminent defense personalities, images and weapons used during Kargil war, Siachen and its heroes and their daily instruments and lifestyle of Ladakhi people. You will also visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh and Spituk Monastery famous for its wide and varied collections of ancient masks, icons, antique arms and numerous Thangkas.

This morning, after breakfast, proceed to Pangong Tso, a lake which is 134 km long and extends from India to Tibet. 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. During winter, the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. Enroute visit Shey Palace, the 15th century summer palace and monastery of Leh's Royal family; the 800 year old gompa at Thiksey built on a hilltop and modeled on the famous Potala Palace in Lhasa. Before reaching Pangong Lake, you will pass through the Changla, a high mountain pass and the world's 3rd highest motorable road. It is on the route to Pangong Lake from Leh. The name literally means "Pass towards the South" or "Pass in the South" (Chang = south, La = Pass). The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7

This morning, after breakfast, drive around the Pangong Lake and don't forget to click photos!! Continue to Leh. En route visit Hemis Monastery hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest gompa in Ladakh. Visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise as well as sunset is amazing from the palace. At present, the palace is open to visit and present a collection of royal attires, crown and other royal materials. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city.

Day 1 - Leh & Ladakh

Welcome to your 'Ladakh Oasis' tour! On arrival at the airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Since it is located at an altitude of over 3000m above sea level, it is imperative that you spend rest of the day acclimatizing to the climate of Ladakh. Later, in the evening you can visit Leh market and Shanti stupa.

Day 2 - Uletokpo

Post Breakfast, we drive towards Leh - Kargil highway to Lamayuru, en route visit the Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to the Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road it slides up. Further, drive through a picturesque landscape and experience the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. Later, proceed to visit the Likir gompa, situated atop a windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. Basgo is certainly the most impressive of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state. Later, drive and cross the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery. After visiting the above monasteries we drive to Uleytokpo at our Campsite. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Leh & Ladakh

Post breakfast, drive further to Lamayuru, which belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) like Phyang. Later, drive back to Leh en route visit the Rizong Gompa, known as the paradise for Meditation. Later, check in to the hotel in Leh.The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 - Nubra Valley

After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Dorma or 'The Valley of Flowers' via Khardungla Pass - one of the highest motorable roads at 18,390 ft, around 39km from Leh and situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. On arrival, check in to camp. Later in the afternoon, visit Diskit Monastery and white sand dunes at Hunder. The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder.

Day 5 - Leh & Ladakh

After breakfast, visit the Sand Dunes to enjoy a camel safari (on direct payment basis). Later, drive to Leh by same route over Khardung La and check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or take a walk to the local market.

Day 6 - Pangong

After breakfast, we leave for Pangong Lake, en route visit the Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh and Thiksey Gompa, an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. Further proceed towards Pangong through Changla pass (5486 mts. situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometre at its widest point and over 130km long, bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment as the scenery is unforgettable.

Day 7 - Leh & Ladakh

The morning is at leisure to explore the beauty of the lake. Later, drive back to Leh, en route visit the Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Dorma or 'The Valley of Flowers' via Khardungla Pass - one of the highest motorable roads at 18,390 ft, around 39km from Leh and situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. On arrival, check in to camp. Later in the afternoon, visit Diskit Monastery and white sand dunes at Hunder. The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder.

Day 5 - Leh & Ladakh

After breakfast, visit the Sand Dunes to enjoy a camel safari (on direct payment basis). Later, drive to Leh by same route over Khardung La and check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or take a walk to the local market.

Day 6 - Pangong

After breakfast, we leave for Pangong Lake, en route visit the Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh and Thiksey Gompa, an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. Further proceed towards Pangong through Changla pass (5486 mts. situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometre at its widest point and over 130km long, bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment as the scenery is unforgettable.

Day 7 - Leh & Ladakh

The morning is at leisure to explore the beauty of the lake. Later, drive back to Leh, en route visit the Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 8 - Leh & Ladakh

Today, bid farewell to your 'Ladakh Oasis tour', as you are transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Day 1 - Leh & Ladakh

Welcome to your 'Ladakh Oasis' tour! On arrival at the airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Since it is located at an altitude of over 3000m above sea level, it is imperative that you spend rest of the day acclimatizing to the climate of Ladakh. Later, in the evening you can visit Leh market and Shanti stupa.

Day 2 - Uletokpo

Post Breakfast, we drive towards Leh - Kargil highway to Lamayuru, en route visit the Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to the Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road it slides up. Further, drive through a picturesque landscape and experience the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. Later, proceed to visit the Likir gompa, situated atop a windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. Basgo is certainly the most impressive of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state. Later, drive and cross the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery. After visiting the above monasteries we drive to Uleytokpo at our Campsite. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Leh & Ladakh

Post breakfast, drive further to Lamayuru, which belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) like Phyang. Later, drive back to Leh en route visit the Rizong Gompa, known as the paradise for Meditation. Later, check in to the hotel in Leh.The rest of the day is at leisure.
