Day 1 - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Arrival Reception.

Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.

Day 2 - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grindenwald first. Lunch included.

Today's stage has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery. GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald first. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the footbridge over the empty among the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that we continue after a short stop in Interlaken to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Time at the end of the day to stroll, enjoy the city and dine before returning to the hotel in Zurich.

Day 3 - Zurich,Paris

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Explore Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. Dinner included.

Embark on a scenic journey to BERN, capital city of the confederation built around a bend in the Aare River, with its medieval architecture preserved in the Old Town. Time to take a stroll and breathe in the fresh air. Next, we journey to France. Enjoy beautiful lake views on our trip to Paris. We arrive in the evening. Indian dinner included.

Day 4 - Paris

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Boat ride along the Seine. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Evening transfer. Indian Dinner included.

A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.

Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day (or Monday).

At sunset enjoy indian dinner in the city of lights. Return to hotel.

Day 5 - Paris

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Free time in the City of Lights. Indian dinner included.

We go to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Free time. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. It will be offered for travelers who are interested, an optional excursion to enjoy in EURODISNEY. Rest of the day free. Indian dinner included.

Day 1 - Prague

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer. Evening transfer to Old Town Square.

Welcome to Prague! At your airport of arrival, we shall be waiting with transport to take you to your hotel. Our guide will greet you at the hotel and provide you with all the necessary information.

In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and tourist activities. It's a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.

Day 2 - Prague

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river.

Today we are visiting this capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour along Moldava River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague. In the evening, we will enjoy some time off in the historical city center and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world (including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian). Return to hotel.

Day 3 - Innsbruck

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: BMW WELT and Old Town Innsbruck.

We will leave early and travel to Bavaria arriving to MUNICH at midday. Next to the Olympiapark, we will visit the futuristic BMW WELT with its fascinating architecture and multi-use exhibition of BMW, the prestigious German vehicles brand. After that, time for lunch and a stroll in the historic centre. In the afternoon we will travel to Austria. Arrival in the evening to INNSBRUCK where we will have time for dinner in the Golden Roof area at the Old Town.

Day 4 - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit to Swarovski Museum. Breathtaking landscapes. Journey by train.

Begin your day by discovering the Swarovski Museum, the renowned home of crystals. We shall visit its impressive gardens and learn how the pieces of crystal are produced. Then, time to stroll before taking a train from Innsbruck to Zurich, an enjoyable journey of more than 3 hours through wonderful sceneries. In ZURICH, enjoy an evening in the historic centre next to the lake, where you can dine at your favourite restaurant (Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, Swiss, etc.).


Day 5 - Zurich

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grindenwald first. Lunch included.

Day 7 - Paris-Disneyland

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Boat ride along the Seine. Evening transfer.

A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.

Day 1 - Zurich

Upon arrival at Zurich Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check in at the hotel in Zurich is at 1500hrs. (Early check-in is subject to availability). This afternoon enjoy discover Zurich on this exciting 2 hour city tour. Explore city landmarks by listening to insightful commentary from your guide as you past by monumental landmarks like the gorgeous Old Town and the Swiss National Museum, built in the style of a Renaissance chateau. Discover the Lindenhof neighbourhood, an old Roman fortress, St. Peter's Church, which boasts the largest clock face in Europe , the sophisticated Bahnhofstrasse shopping street and the charming Old Town of Limmatguai. Stop to admire the scenic beauty of Lake Zurich. See the Fraumunster Church and learn all about the abbey's exciting history and architecture. Day 2 - Zurich

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy an excursion to Stein am Rhein and the Rhine Falls. Pass through the beautiful countryside to the medieval town of Stein am Rhein, a well-preserved old town with its many distinctive buildings. Most of these half-timbered houses are made of stone with delicate wooden windows and stun visitors with their exceptional frescoes. The most prominent of these houses is the White Eagle, whose fresco counts as the oldest preserved mural painting of the Renaissance in Switzerland. Later drive to discover the stunning Rhine Falls, Europe's biggest waterfall. You have the afternoon at leisure to explore Zurich on your own or you could the optional excursion to Liechtenstein. Day 3 - Berne

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning travel to Lucerne, nestled on the banks of Lake Lucerne and encircled by Alpine peaks. The lively streets, hidden treasures and beautiful facades of Lucerne's medieval buildings form the perfect setting for a guided city tour. Visit the world famous sights such as the Chapel Bridge with the octagonal Water Tower, the Jesuit Church and the Lion Monument. Free time - use the Swiss Coupon Pass vouchers for lunch or shopping. In the afternoon travel to Interlaken Overnight in the region of Bernese Oberland.

Day 4 - Berne

Breakfast at the hotel. The day is free at leisure OR join one of our optional excursions: Visit Top of Europe and enjoy lunch on Jungfraujoch - Visit the Reichenbach Falls, followed by a scenic boat ride on Lake Brienz - Visit Basel Overnight in the region of Bernese Oberland

Day 5 - Montreux

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning enjoy a scenic drive from Thun to Bern. On arrival in Bern proceed on a comprehensive city tour. After lunch, be transferred to the picturesque village of Gruyere home of the famous Swiss Gruyere cheese. Walk through the village and pass by the Gruyere castle (entrance fee payable on spot). You could also optional excursion to the chocolate factory "Maison Callier" in Broc. Late afternoon transfer to Montreux. Overnight in the region of Montreux.

Day 6 - Montreux

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. The day is leisure to explore the enchanted region on your own. Or you can opt for our optional excursion to France. Overnight in the region of Montreux.

Day 7 - Geneva

Breakfast buffet at the hotel.
Today, visit the Chillon Castle in Montreux , efore driving along the majestic Swiss Riviera and passing by the Lavaux vineyards - a well-known UNESCO world heritage site.
In the afternoon, continue to Geneva where you will enjoy a city tour. Explore the old town and international districts of Geneva on a 2-hour sightseeing tour, and see top attractions, such as the fountain of Jet d'Eau in Lake Geneva, St. Pierre's Cathedral, the Flower Clock, and more.
Overnight in Geneva.

Day 8 - Geneva

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. This morning you will be transferred to Geneva Airport to board your flight back home. END OF SERVICES

Day 1 - Zurich

Welcome to your 'Cox & Kings European Rhapsody' tour. Your Cox & Kings representative greets you at the 'meeting point' at the exit after immigration and customs and transfers you comfortably to your hotel (check-in after 1600 hrs). Day 2 - Axams

Today proceed for a short orientation tour of Zurich strolling down Bahnhofstrasse - the city's fanciest shopping street, past famous sights like Peterskirche (St. Peter's Church) situated in a medieval square, famous for its 16th Century clock, the largest clock face in Europe. The elegant copper spire of the Fraumunster found in the 9th Century with impressive stained glass windows. Across the Limmat River, you will get a view of the Grossmunster - a beautiful Romanesque and Gothic Cathedral dedicated to Zurich's patron saints. Later your drive takes you to picture perfect Austria, enroute, pause at the principality of Liechtenstein and stop at Vaduz - the capital, to enjoy a short orientation. Vaduz is famous for its postage stamps. Next halt at the internationally renowned Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, and prepare to be dazzled at the 'Chambers of Wonder'! In a wondrous blue hall dominated by a Unicum- a wall of crystal, you see the world's biggest crystal and it's smallest! Over 7 million people from all corners of the globe, have already been thrilled by the Swarovski experience - now you are one of them! Continue a scenic drive to Innsbruck. Located on the Inn River, Innsbruck is one of Europe's most beautiful and lively cities. An international centre for winter sports, it has hosted the Winter Olympics twice! Our orientation tour introduces you to its world famous sights. View the Golden Roof or 'Goldenes Dachl', an ornate Gothic balcony erected by the Emperor Maximilian I in the 15th century, decorated with gold painted copper shingles. Next walk to the Imperial Church followed by the 'Hofburg' or Imperial Palace. This Capital of the Alps, has a history of 800 years! Enjoy your dinner after checking in at the hotel. Overnight in Innsbruck. Breakfast and Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 - Padova

Today, your journey takes you on a drive past quaint villages, medieval castles and fruit orchards and cutting across the fertile Adriatic Plains, to the magical lagoon city of Venice. Nothing prepares you for the captivating city of canals and palaces - Venice is simply unique! Built on 117 small islands, it is a pedestrian's city, so get set for a walking tour. Cruise from Tronchetto Pier and glide romantically past fairytale palaces, through incredible miniature canals to the Piazza San Marco (St. Marks Square), where you disembark. Napoleon dubbed the Square the 'finest drawing room in Europe' for its constant carnival atmosphere! Witness the bronze Moors striking the hour, as they have been doing for the past 500 years! From there to the Doge's Palace, connected by the 'Bridge of Sighs' to its prisons. It was from here that the legendary lover Casanova made his famous escape! End this exciting tour with a brief visit to a Murano Glass Showroom (When open) for a demonstration in glass blowing. It was on the island of Murano that glass was first made in Europe and hand blown Venetian glass is world famous. Later check-in to the hotel. Overnight in Padova. Breakfast at the hotel and Dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 4 - Arezzo

Drive across the Apennine Mountains, along the Brenta River past Bologna, to Pisa - the hometown of Galileo and a city, which makes the most of its claim to fame from its Leaning Tower! It has leaned almost since construction first started, due to the swampy soil beneath it. At a photo stop here, note its striking beauty along with its characteristic tilt. It is the Duomo's (Cathedral), Bell Tower together with the Baptistery, these are all a part of the Field of Miracles. Continue to Florence, to the magical Piazzale Michelangelo for a view of the city. After an exciting tour, drive through a stretch of olive groves and vineyards to the Tuscany region where on arrival you will be checked in to your hotel. Overnight in Arezzo. Breakfast at the hotel and Indian dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 - Arezzo

Today, after breakfast we will drive towards Rome. 'Rome was not built in a day'- the truth of this oft quoted adage hits you with full force, as we pack in all the 'must see' agenda into our guided panoramic city tour ! According to legend, Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus in 753 BC. Start your introduction to Rome with a journey to The Vatican, the smallest nation in the world! It boasts a priceless art collection and is probably per square foot the richest country in the world! Visit one of the largest churches in the world St. Peter's Basilica with St. Peter's Square. Gaze in awe at Michelangelo's Pieta. Continue your tour driving past the triumphal Arch of Constantine, one of the most important commemorative monuments of antiquity and then drive through Piazza Venezia, where the grandiose monument to the reunification of Italy is often referred to as the Marble wedding cake! Pass the Circus Maximus - the Hippodrome - known for its ancient chariot races, which was reconstructed by Hollywood for the well known movie 'Ben Hur'! Later, drive back to your hotel. Note: Due to Rome city regulations, certain roads may be off limits for long distance coaches. This may result in the Rome sightseeing being done partly by foot public transport. Overnight in Arezzo. Breakfast at the hotel and Indian dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 - Chamonix

After breakfast, enjoy a comfortable drive to the scenic splendour of Chamonix Mont Blanc. It's 'Love at first sight' as you enter the beautiful Chamonix Valley and the majestic mountains of the Mont Blanc range. Whilst all the Hindi movies have launched the Swiss Alps, Cox & Kings is the first to introduce the French Alps to India and the home of Mont Blanc, famous for its pens and accessories. Carry on your drive to Chamonix Mont Blanc region and check-in. Overnight in Chamonix. Breakfast at the hotel and Dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 7 - Chamonix

Today, enjoy our excursion tour - a ride on the highest and most impressive cable car, the Aiguille du Midi, lifts you to 3842 meters for an unforgettable view of the Alps. The more fearless will take A STEP INTO THE VOID, onto a 2.50 m glass cage out over a 1000 m precipice. A product of modern architectural and technical prowess and a sensation packed experience. The Aiguille du Midi has its own postage stamp and a letterbox! Continue your excursion with a ride on the nostalgic red cog railway to Montenvers. The train climbs a steep track, through scenic alpine scenery, to a stunning vantage point above the 'Mer de Glace' (sea of ice) Glacier. You know you've really arrived when you stand at 1913 meters, at the 'Mer de Glace', which is 7 kms long and 200 meters thick, with a surface dimension of 40 kms! A crystal gallery, a wildlife exhibition, an ice garden and the famous ice grotto 100 meters long, carved each year into the heart of the glacier, awaits you! After dinner, return to the hotel. Overnight in Chamonix. Breakfast at the hotel and Dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 8 - Chamonix

Today, after breakfast, check out and drive to Lucerne witnessing picturesque mountains, lakes, cowbells, alpine villages and meadows. Pause at the poignant Lion Monument, built to commemorate the brave Swiss soldiers killed during the French Revolution. Stroll along the covered, wooden Kappellbrucke (chapel bridge), to the ornate Jesuit Church. You will have your first encounter with the marvels of Swiss shopping. Most visitors take home two things - memories of a beautiful country and a Swiss watch. Good times need never end! As you get ready for the airport and your flight back home, relive the high points of your 'Cox and Kings European Rhapsody' tour. We are confident you will join us again sometime soon.
