Built in 1568, Jewish Synagogue is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. . It was destroyed by the Portuguese and rebuilt by the Dutch a century later.

Chinese fishing nets are believed to have been introduced by Chinese explorer Zheng He, from the court of Kubla Khan between 1350 and 1450 AD.

After lunch, visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam.

Chinese fishing nets are believed to have been introduced by Chinese explorer Zheng He, from the court of Kubla Khan between 1350 and 1450 AD.

After lunch, visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam.

Located on the way to Top Station at a distance of 15 km from Munnar, Echo Point is a popular picnic spot and a nature lover\'s delight. With beautiful lush green landscapes, serene surroundings and a favourable climate all year around, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind..

Situated at an elevation of 1700 m above sea level, about 13 km from Munnar, Mattupetty is best known for its storage masonry dam, which is used for hydroelectricity generation purposes. A beautiful tranquil lake here offers boating by speed launch, slow speedboat or an ordinary motorboat.
