Day 1 - Mount Abu

Morning we drive to Mount Abu enroute visiting Ambaji temple. Ambaji :Ambaji Temple contains no idol, but an inscribed Yantra in the niche. Ambaji is essentially a temple town-with a temple dedicated to Goddess Ambaji at the center. The Ambaji Temple and the front court Chachar no Chowk are aligned in the same axis of the cave at Gabbar hill-the original abode of Goddess Ambaji.: 22 kms from Danta is one of the major Shakti-piths of India, situated in the Arasur hills. The The present temple was constructed a few years ago, maintaining the original architectural style. Millions of piligrims visit the temple every year-especially during Navratri to seek the blessing of Goddess Ambaji. Arrive Mount Abu, check in at hotel. Overnight at Mount Abu.

Day 2 - Mount Abu

Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan nestling in picturesque Aravalimountains. Entire hill side in Mount Abu is covered by the mango, bamboo, eucalyptus, date-palm, silk, cotton and lime trees. Arrive in Mount Abu in the afternoon. In the evening we visit the Dilwara Jain Temples. Dilwara Jain Temples were constructed between 11th and 13th centuries. VimalVasahi, one of the oldest temple, built in 1031 A.D. VimalVasahi is an outstanding example of Jain temple architecture and famous for its superb carvings in marble. In the evening we will have a walk at the focal point of the town, Nakki Lake and enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Mount Abu.

Day 3 - Mount Abu,Udaipur

Today we drive to Udaipur. Set amidst the Aravalli hills of south Rajasthan, Udaipur, regarded as one of the most romantic in India. Presenting an enchanting image of marble palaces, placid lakes, attractive gardens and green hills, it has been called the Venice of the East. It was founded by MaharanaUdai Singh II in 1568 as a traditionally planned, fortified city full of palaces, temples and Havelis. The city also became a centre for the performing arts, painting and crafts. Begin your half-day sightseeing tour of Udaipur with City Palace and Museum. The largest palace complex in India, it is a blend of Mughal and Rajput influences. Also see the 17th century Jagdish temple, drive around the Fatehsagar Lake, and visit the Sahelionki Bari (the Garden for the Maids of Honor), an ornamental pleasure garden with fountains and marble kiosks. Late in the afternoon proceed for boat ride in Lake Pichola. Overnight at the hotel

Day 4 - Udaipur

Excursion visit to Nathdwara temple. Nathdwara :ShriNathdwara (a pathway to Lord Shri Krishna) literally means the gateway to the Lord ShriNathji. This great Vaishnavite shrine was built in the 17th century on spot exactly identified by the Lord himself. The legends have it that the idol of the Lord Krishna was being transferred to safer place from Vrindaban to protect it from the destructive wrath of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. When the idol reached this spot, the wheels of bullock cart it was traveling in, sank axle deep in mud and refused to move further, at all. The accompanying priest realized that this was Lord\'s chosen spot and the Lord did not want to travel any further. Accordingly a Temple was built here. This is a temple and place of pilgrimage amongst its believers. Overnight Udaipur.

Day 5 - Udaipur

Today we drive to Ahmedabad enroute visiting Kesariyaji temple. Kesariyaji : The temple is dedicated to Lord Rishbdev, the first Jain Tirthankara. The temple is very artistic. Its pinnacles, arches, doors, walls are very artistic, beautiful and fascinating. The fifty two pinnacles of the temple are seen from a long distance. The main temple of AtishayaTeerthKshetraRishabh Dev is very attractive, magnificent and artistic having 52 beautiful spires on it. According to Jain\'s opinion, as a symbol of NandishwarDweep 52 temples this temple was constructed having 52 spires. This temple is constructed scientifically according to the art of architecture. Just before the courtyard and in front of the main temple there is an idol of Marudevi Mata, the mother of Lord Rikhabdev, seated on a marble elephant. The Jains believes that the image belongs to the time of Rama and Sita. The temple was repaired in the 14th and 15th centuries and the oldest inscription found on the temple is that of 1424 AD. The altar of the temple was built in the 14th century. It is said that this idol was reverenced by AcharyaVidyanand in 8th & 9th century. Some ancient petrographs are also found here, that proves that this Kshetra was renovated time to time due to the precepts of Bhattarkas by Digambar devotees It is said that this miraculous idol of BhagwanRishabh Dev was brought here from village Khoonadary which was a prosperous city in ancient time. Latter in the Mughal period due to attacks on Khoonadary and killing of cows devotees shifted the idol at safer place. TOUR ENDS
