Trip Itinerary - 7 Nights Jerusalem
Day 1 - Jerusalem

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport (at 15:05) where you will be met by a local representative and be transferred to your hotel.

Welcome Dinner at Mona, a trendy restaurant in a 19th century stone building in Jerusalem

Day 2 - Jerusalem

Today go for a walking tour in the Old City that will get you to some major sites and allow you to sample the delicacies of the Arab cuisine. With its 4000 years of history, the Old City is a vast and intricate hodgepodge, and the best way to explore its rich texture is by plunging in and wandering through its hummus parlours, holy sites, ancient bakeries and picturesque market.

Enjoy from the Street Food: Shwarma, Falafel, fresh Juices and Turkish Coffee.

Afternoon visit at Mea Shearim, the ultra orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem and learn about their unique lifestyle. Experience a fascinating culinary tour in this Hassidic Jewish quarter of Jerusalem, little more than a century old, but in the dress and customs of its inhabitants is surely an amazing surviving fragment of the world of Eastern European Jewry.

Day 3 - Jerusalem

Tour begins at Neot Kedumim, a unique Biblical landscape preserve, where we will learn about the foods of the Bible and have a Biblical snack!

On to Havat Zuk, a lovely hilltop goat cheese farm set in the Judean hills, where we will enjoy lunch.

After lunch a tour and tasting at the boutique winery Tzora, whose wines are made solely from grapes grown in their own vineyards.

Day 4 - Jerusalem

Free time to shop downtown or at Mamilla followed by lunch in the picturesque Arab town of Abu Ghosh where you will taste Israel's best and most authentic humus.

Proceed to Flam Winery which is located in the heart of the magnificent Jerusalem Hills.

You will learn at the wine workshop about the wine industry in the area and wine making process led by Israel Flam. During the wine degustation we demonstrate the importance of a proper marriage between a wine glass & the wine tasted, and discuss each of wine\'s special features.

Continue to visit at Beer Breweries in Ella Valley, enjoy from lot of Beer tastings and learn about the Israeli Beer industry.

Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5 - Jerusalem

After breakfast at the hotel, awaken your senses at Machane Yehuda, the colorful and famous fruit and vegetable market on a special tour & workshop.

The tour combines interesting stories, history, encounters with colorful characters and more. We will travel through the alleys of the market and taste locally made halva, homemade Jerusalem ice cream, natural health drinks, traditional bakery, special homos and more.

The tour gives you a taste of Jerusalem fragrances that combine the picturesque Nahlaot neighborhood and the market. Their authenticity is comprised of an entire mosaic of people, stalls, butcheries, galleries, synagogues, and restaurants that only the Mahane Yehuda market and Nahlaot neighborhood can offer in one place.

The tour includes 6 different tastings.

Proceed to the Israel Museum; Visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period

Day 6 - Jerusalem

Drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, almost 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada. Ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans before committing mass suicide in 73 A.D. Descend by cable car.

Proceed to the Falahim Village of Drejat and enjoy from Arab homemade meal while your host tells you stories about the village and the families living there. You will also visit an ancient cave where Falahim used to live until not so long ago.

Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7 - Jerusalem

Visit at Yad Vashem, the memorial to the holocaust. Drive to the Knesset, Israel parliament to see the Menorah with the biblical emblems.

Lunch at Eucalyptus restaurant in Artist Colony and meet the restaurant's Chef Moshe Bason. After lunch walk to the King David Hotel for afternoon Tea overlooking the walls of the old City.

In the evening enjoy a middle eastern dinner followed by the spectacular "sound& light" show* at the Tower of David museum.

Day 8 - Jerusalem

Drive to visit one of the best quality Boutique Wineries in Israel, Mony Vineyard.

Here you will hear the story of Arthur family, a Christian-Arab from the Galilee who moved to the Judean hills to establish the winery. These people succeed to create a unique Israeli Kosher wine.

Proceed to Ben Gurion airport for your return flight (depart at 16:30)
