Welcome to your 'Misty Manali Volvo - Summer' tour! On arrival at the Volvo bus stand in Delhi, board your overnight bus to Manali.

Day 2 - Manali

This morning on arrival in Manali, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Note: Guests are requested to reconfirm their arrival with Sarthak Resort one day prior of check-in and provide approx reaching time at Manali.

The rest of the day is at leisure to stroll and shop on the Mall Road, the life centre of every hill station. Why not spend few blissful moments walking through the undulating stretches and enjoying the cool mountain breeze, shop for local handicrafts or just relax at the hotel. You may also enjoy walks after dinner on the Mall Road under a starlit sky and hearing the silence of nature.

Day 3 - Manali

The day is at leisure to explore this picturesque town. Or you can opt for Rohtang Pass (closed on Tuesday's). Rohtang Pass offers magnificent views of the himalayan mountain ranges. It was the medieval trading route to Lahaul and Spiti. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired (on direct payment) or one can opt to visit Solang Valley, located 14 kms from downtown Manali and at an altitude of about 8500 feet above the sea level.

Solang Valley is renowned for its ski slopes and state-of-the-art ropeway. In a picturesque setting of snow-capped mountains, thick conifer forest, lush green meadows and a meandering river, it is the ideal location for a host of outdoor and adventure activities (On direct payment).

Note: (Only local vehicles are allowed for Rohtang Pass / Snow point visit).

Day 4 - Manali

Visit Naggar Castle and Prati Vaishnodevi Mata Mandir.

Today, proceed to visit the Naggar Castle and Prati Vaishnodevi Mata Mandir.

Naggar which is located 23 kms north of Kullu on the left bank of river Beas. Here, we will be visiting the Naggar Castle. The charming 15th century stone and wood Naggar Castle built in the traditional Himachali style with alternating stone and timber, is now a heritage hotel run by Himachal Tourism.

Mata Vaishno Maha Devi Tirth is located in the beautiful Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh. Maha Devi Tirth named after Goddess Parvati, also called the Vaishno Devi temple was built in 1966.

Day 5 - Manali,New Delhi

Enjoy a city tour of Manali.

Today after breakfast, enjoy city tour of Manali visiting places like Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Hot Water Spring, Ram Temple and Tibetan Monastery.

Hadimba Devi Temple is dedicated to the demon goddess Hadimba (an incarnation of Kali). Constructed in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh, this multi-tiered wooden pagoda-style temple is Manali's oldest and one of the most frequented pilgrim spots. Vashisht Hot Water Spring - On the left bank of river Beas, about 3 km from downtown Manali, the hot sulphur springs in the village of Vashist are significant for their medicinal value. Piped into Turkish-style baths, there are separate bathing areas for men and women, each with pools of varying heat.

Tibetan Monastery, which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings.

The Mattanchery palace is a Dutch Palace in the state of Kerala and was built in 1555. It served as a gift to the local Raja of Kochi. The palace stands as a testament of the Dutch rule over Kochiand neighboring areas. The palace now exhibits Temple art, portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi.

The Jewish synagogue is also called the Pardesi Synagogue. It is located in the corner of the Jew town in the city of Kochi. Itis a prayer house or shrine for people from the Jewish faith. Built in 1568, the synagogue has a 500 year old history attached to it.

Chinese fishing nets also called Cheena vala are the fishing installations made in Kochi. Each net has a limited area and depth of operation. The fishing nets make for a beautiful backdrop for photography.

Mattupetty Lake is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydro-electricity dam. The entire area around it is covered with forests and sightings of wild animals are common. This territory is famous for its elephant sightings.

The splendorous 80-feet high and 330-feet wide, Athirapally falls in Kerala have rightfully earned the title of being the Niagara Falls of India. The soothing sound of these falls takes you to the nature's most relaxing and rejuvenating place in Trichur District. The cool ambience and the tranquility felt in this place works as a remedy for the exhausted souls. The thick lush green forest around the beautiful waterfall that covers a large area makes Athirapally a scenic location.

Chinese fishing nets also called Cheena vala are the fishing installations made in Kochi. Each net has a limited area and depth of operation. The fishing nets make for a beautiful backdrop for photography.

Echo Point is located near the Top Station. At this point, the valley is acoustically inclined to reverberate the sounds that enter it. The legend goes that if your voice echoes thrice, you will get what you wish for.

Mattupetty Lake is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by a small hydro-electricity dam. The entire area around it is covered with forests and sightings of wild animals are common. This territory is famous for its elephant sightings.

The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the scenic surroundings of Alleppey or one can enjoy a backwater cruise (boats can be hired on direct payment basis).

The memorial stands on one of two rocks located about 500 meters east off mainland of Vavathurai, India's southernmost tip. Later, en route visit the Suchindram temple - one of the best place to understand the rich religious and cultural heritage of India , which is dedicated to a deity representing the combined forces of Siva, Vishnu and Brahma.
