Today discover why New Zealand is considered as Heaven On Earth! Proceed towards Glacier Country region and marvel at the natural scenery. Enroute enjoy the largest pass of New Zealand, the Arthurs Pass and visit the Jade Stone workshop in the country town of Hokitika. Arrive Fox Glacier. Onward to Franz Josef Glacier area. Day 6 - Te Anau

Today morning, after breakfast at hotel, check out. Proceed to Te Anau. The picturesque township of Te Anau is the main visitor base for the glacier-carved wilderness that is Fiordland National Park. Visit Lake Te Anau. Check in at Hotel (Check in time is 14:00 Hrs.). Visit Te Anau Bird sanctuary. View rare amazing birds native to New Zealand such as Takahe, the rare flightless bird, the Kaka, a beautiful native forest parrot. View Kereru (New Zealand pigeon) and Tui, and Kea, the alpine parrot. Also view free flying birds in the Aviary.
Later proceed for Te Anau Glow Worm Caves tour. The journey begins with a cruise to the western shores of Lake Te Anau on one of our purpose-built scenic cruise vessels. At the entry to the caves at Cavern House, view the informative displays and learn about this geological wonder before you join your guide underground. On the tour of the caves, our friendly guides will point out the highlights and share their knowledge of the caves and its history. This underground world is astonishingly beautiful. By geological standards the caves are very young (12,000 years) and are still being carved out by the force of the river that flows through them. The result is a twisting network of limestone passages filled with sculpted rock, whirlpools and a roaring underground waterfall. Deep inside the caves, beyond the roar of the water, you will be taken by small boat into a silent hidden Glow Worm Grotto inhabited by thousands of glow worms, unique to New Zealand. In the subterranean darkness, they produce a glittering display. Return to hotel.

Day 7 - Te Anau

Today explore the scenic surroundings beyond Queenstown, as you travel enjoy Milford Sound Cruise. Drive through scenic landscapes. Situated within Fiordland National Park, part of Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site, lies New Zealand\'s most stunning natural attraction - Milford Sound. Milford Sound is the best known of all the Fiords in New Zealand. At the pinnacle of Milford Sound is the magnetizing Mitre Peak - a prominent peak on the south shore of Milford Sound, standing a proud 1,692 meters above sea level, it is certainly an impressive sight to behold. The Peak consists of five closely grouped individual peaks. Bounded by towering steep cliffs and dense forests and peaks, behold the beautiful pristine scenery. Enjoy lunch on board. Watch out for seals, dolphins and penguins. Return to hotel in Te Anau.

Day 8 - Hamilton

Transfer to airport for flight to Auckland. Arrive Auckland and meet by our representative. Proceed to Hamilton. Visit Hamilton Gardens. (subject to time, closes at 5 pm). Step through peaceful Sung Dynasty Chinese Scholar's garden before being enthralled by the grandeur of the Indian Char Bagh (four quartered) Garden, overlooking the Waikato River. Day 9 - Rotorua

Proceed to Rotorua, located on a volcanic plateau, Rotorua is the heartland of Maori culture and the centre of New Zealand's spectacular geothermal wonders. Visit the Agrodome and watch Farm Show.
Enjoy two activities including Agrojet, jet boat ride and Shweep at Agroventures. Visit Te Puia thermal geysers, Rotorua's best-known reserve of thermal springs, where boiling mud pools and roaring geysers greet you. Opt for Polynesian Spa. Experience the living habits of the local Maori people. Visit Maori Arts & Crafts Centre. After an exciting day, return to hotel.

Day 10 - Rotorua

Morning proceed to visit Taupo. Enroute visit Huka Falls. The Huka Falls are a set of waterfalls on the Waikato River that drains Lake Taupo in New Zealand. A few hundred meters upstream from the Huka Falls, the Waikato River narrows from approximately 100 meters across into a canyon only 15 meters across. View the waters gushing at The Huka Falls. The Huka Falls is located in the Wairakei Tourist Park. Later proceed to Lake Taupo. Lake Taupo is a lake in the North Island of New Zealand. It is in the caldera of the Taupo Volcano. With a surface area of 616 square Kilometers, it is the largest lake by surface area in New Zealand. Return to Rotorua by evening after views of beautiful scenery.

Today morning, after breakfast at hotel, check out. Proceed to Te Anau. The picturesque township of Te Anau is the main visitor base for the glacier-carved wilderness that is Fiordland National Park. Visit Lake Te Anau. Check in at Hotel (Check in time is 14:00 Hrs.). Visit Te Anau Bird sanctuary. View rare amazing birds native to New Zealand such as Takahe, the rare flightless bird, the Kaka, a beautiful native forest parrot. View Kereru (New Zealand pigeon) and Tui, and Kea, the alpine parrot. Also view free flying birds in the Aviary.
Later proceed for Te Anau Glow Worm Caves tour. The journey begins with a cruise to the western shores of Lake Te Anau on one of our purpose-built scenic cruise vessels. At the entry to the caves at Cavern House, view the informative displays and learn about this geological wonder before you join your guide underground. On the tour of the caves, our friendly guides will point out the highlights and share their knowledge of the caves and its history. This underground world is astonishingly beautiful. By geological standards the caves are very young (12,000 years) and are still being carved out by the force of the river that flows through them. Milford Sound is the best known of all the Fiords in New Zealand. At the pinnacle of Milford Sound is the magnetizing Mitre Peak - a prominent peak on the south shore of Milford Sound, standing a proud 1,692 meters above sea level, it is certainly an impressive sight to behold.
